Team Performance
Are Your Teams Getting Results?
Teams are at the center of an organization getting results, but they need the tools, support and practice to succeed.
Our Team Performance System® provides an integrated and flexible approach to meeting team challenges and moving to high performance.
Components of the System include:
-
A shared model and common language for describing the elements of good teaming and their indicators.
-
A survey and visual report for self-assessing strengths and gaps and growing capability through team-improvement meetings.
-
Consulting services that support a culture of collaboration across functions and businesses.
-
A Team Leader Guide that outlines best practices for both virtual and in-person work.
-
Training and certification for leaders and teams.
Our Team Performance System Is a Standard in the Field
The Model
Provide a Common Language
The Drexler/Sibbet Team Performance Model® illustrates the necessary stages involved in both creating and sustaining high-performance teams. Keys to each stage provide guidance for what to work on to improve.
The Survey
Assess Strengths & Gaps
The Team Performance Survey™ includes statements keyed to the Model stages, and a visual report that makes identification of strengths and gaps easy. Descriptions of Model stages and keys supports the adoption of a common team language.
Consulting Services
Plan a Path Forward
Our consultants work with team leaders, administer the Survey and interpret the results, recommending best practices to improve the team’s performance. They facilitate team meetings at any scale and level, both in person and virtually.
Other Key Components
Teams are dynamic and ever-changing and work best when members have a repertoire of strategies and best practices that can be flexibly deployed. The System is deliberately modular and adaptable across an entire enterprise.
Team Leader Guide 2.0
Completely revised and updated, our new guide includes strategies and more than 100 best practices for in-person, virtual and hybrid teaming.

Workshops
Attend a public workshop or have us conduct a workshop within your organization, virtually or in person. Participants will learn essential team practices and visual tools and be certified to administer the Survey. We can also train your internal human-resource or learning-and-development staff to conduct the workshop on our behalf.
Licensing
We have a variety of licensing offerings, including the Team Performance Survey, best practices and team-related content, and on-site print/distribution for select Grove products.
Team Tools Websites
We can create an online resource of tools and best practices from our extensive collection and your organization’s tried-and-true methods. This website can be housed behind your firewall and provides a shared teaming framework and resource center for your organization.
Products
For those who have taken our courses, have team experience, and want to learn in a do-it-yourself approach, we’ve developed toolsets for team effectiveness that you can purchase online at Grove Tools.
“We have applied the Team Performance Model and graphic facilitation tools and processes to three different teams within our organization since we received our training from The Grove. These teams were in different parts of our business (both manufacturing and product development) and had very different objectives and team member skill sets. In each case, the teams performed effectively and the team members were highly motivated throughout the process.”
